While there is one overarching plot that spans the full timeline of the book (a few months) there are also several smaller storylines that are never really resolved. I kept getting invested in one, only to have it dropped with no real ending, just a full page illustration with no text and then it was on to the next mini plot.

Even the main plot ended like this.
Liv told people about her teacher grooming her
and it just kind of ended there. Additionally, as someone who has experienced this personally, the reaction of the people around Liv to this secret was nice, if unrealistic to me. Liv tells people what has happened, and everyone believes her and sides with her immediately. Happy for her, but that's not what happened most of the time in 2002.

This book was honestly just not great. The main character was really annoying and stupid. Overall I would not recommend and I honestly can't believe this is a forest of reading book.

I think this was a little too ambitious in how much it tried to cram into such a small graphic novel. Fast paced definitely has a place in ya graphic novels, especially for reluctant readers, but some of the topics touched on in this book, like a high school teacher preying on their students, are too important to be treated in such a rushed and over-simplified way.
