I was hooked from the get go on this. And it normally takes me some time to get into anything near a police procedural…which this vibes against but it’s quite police procedural. I liked the mafia aspects, and everything from Eddie’s POV as a con man and lawyer. Will definitely be continuing this series

well this was quite fast
first of all... this wasnt really thriller-y... at least it wasn't really like the thrillers i read. I dont usually go for action thrillers and thrillers that happen in a short span of time. but holy fuck, so much happened in just a few hours... it was unrealistic? 
I liked the main character, even though I dont really like to read pushing 40 male protagonist pov, this one was alright... id love to be as good arguer as eddie is... 

I have to say, even though this book was filled with action, i was quite bored... the writing style didnt do it for me and i was getting through the book slowly and hardly...
