A first Steve Cavanagh read for me and it was a good one.
The storyline was great, it was fast-paced and gripping. What let it down was some of the unrealistic moments that occurred. I felt like some situations were forced in and it all worked out just fine so that the rest of the plot would work out.For example, when Eddie has to get the bomb into the courthouse which means going in without being searched or going through the security scanners. He just happens to have the perfect back story and connections.
His connections come in handy a lot as they are specifically known to help in these detailed situations he finds himself in.
I think if it didnt feel so convenient in places then I would have rated it higher.
I will continue to read the next in the series because I did enjoy the story.
