I really did enjoy this book. This book has a tall FMC she is 6’1 which is awesome to see a tall FMC. Rex and Abby went to school together as kids and Abby pinned for Rex and he did not know she existed. Rex now deals with every woman he dated immediately gets married after they break up. He is tired of being the guy before the girl. Abby needs some money to get past debt her ex got her into. 

There is humor, quirk and a good slow burn that we get with Penny Reid. I’m very excited for book 2 that comes out in December about Rex’s best friend,Cyrus

Cute story, cute couple. It didn’t hit the spot for me, partly because we don’t really get to know Rex and partly because the last quarter of the book felt rushed. They both had so many hang ups about serious relationships, and with a kiss they were gone. I do love a good epilogue, though, and I love that there was no subscription required.
