Disappointing compared to the first book. Made it clear this will be a "keep buying my books" series. There was very little that actually got accomplished in this book, just incremental progress on each of the many story lines.

A storytelling masterpiece

A Great read with plots and subplots! Great world building and visualization. I kept coming back to it to find out what would happen next! Complete with twists and turns!

While the first book felt like a series of unrelated plots, this book knitted the plot and characters together into something a little bit more cohesive. There is still a lot happening and this is a fairly short book so the story did not move forward a lot, however I enjoyed listening to the audio enough that I'm going to continue with the series to see what happens.
