Short, nice stories. Remind me of The Little Bear and the Little Tiger :-)
Wonderful illustrations

A sweet series of tales. Easy to read aloud to a young reader, or for beginning readers.

Great beginner chapter book. Good repetition. Only request is that the next edition has color pages. The story says "red car" but it's black in the picture. Confusing for little ones.

Daughter #1 and I read this together for her 1st grade summer reading. A collection of four short stories well suited for beginning readers, both Kaileigh and I enjoyed Story #3 the best. Nothing much more to say. Simple and fun, it's a great way for beginning readers to develop confidence. Kaileigh read it to me in one ~30 min sitting.

This is the first book I ever remember reading myself as I would settle into bed. The beginning of a tradition!
