I know people often reference Lewis' faith but I'd forgotten quite how deeply Christian this book is, having previously read it as a kid.

I was kinda of iffy about continuing reading this book, but was able to convince myself to read it because it was a short book. I'm aware that the book is older and writers had a different writing style back then, but the story completely bore me. The only thing I found interesting was the witch to be honest.

Always a moving favorite. So much of this story is powerful and rich for the mind of those who love Aslan. And it really MUST be read near the end of the series! It was written 6th, and should be read 6th, for so many reasons.
Finished it in the very closing hours of 2023 :).
I wasn't crazy about the narration, only because I felt parts were sped by too nonchalantly, and the choice of voice and character for Aslan and Strawberry/Fledge was disappointing... though it's hard to judge, very impressive skill to get ALL of the characters.

I really enjoyed the style of the storytelling! It was a quick and easy read for me. I also loved the illustrations of what was happening. I did read this book first, as chronologically it’s the first one. It has the backstory of Narnia.
