Wish the fact it’s an abridged version was stated in the title or cover or something :( but it’s a good book

So well written, but also quite slow. There were parts that could've been cut out, but at the same time I understand why they were there.

DNF'ed- had to return the book to the library, just so happened to try to read during finals season.

What a strange and unsettling book. To be able to continue to care for someone, especially platonically, while knowing the atrocities they've committed against innumerable individuals; the echo of which is so deep and widespread, is unfathomable to me.

Interesting true crime depiction of Ted Bundy. Well written as can be expected by Ann Rule.

There is in sight that is provided of how she felt when someone that she thought was a good person was accused of such heinous crimes. Due to that she does spend a lot of the book not sure if Ted Bundy did commit the crime. So if you don't want to read a book where someone gives him the benefit of the doubt for a good portion of it, I wouldn't recommend picking it up.
Also as it is a true crime book she does describe a lot of the violence so go in knowing that.
