This was one of the better non-fictions books that’s I’ve read this year. The writing was great and the authors stories sucked me in.
However, I had a hard time grasping at certain things. This author came from this wonderful life, participated in amazing opportunities. Her family hosts motivation, life goals, and growth seminar family meetings (with guests speakers). Yet she has a random drug problem and ended up in rehab. Happens to most famous people unfortunately. She seemed to gloss over and almost glamorize those serious issues(rehab and pill addiction). I didn’t feel like she really expanded or truthful talked about those topics. It seems more like it didn’t even really happen. I also didn’t feel like the motivation part of the book was reached or even really added. I honestly just felt like I was reading about her amazing life and small struggle.
I have never heard of her before picking out this book. This is all my opinion of reading the book.

It was good. Didn’t agree with everything in it. But overall good information.

Honestly, this book was hard to get into. You may love it if you are a fan of Mallory, but I had never heard of her before reading this book. I felt she talked so much about her and did not have much actual advice to share. What she shared was so common that it didn't feel special or unique.

I love this book. It is transformative and changed my life. It not only showed wisdom and strength, but it revealed a sincerity that allowed you to connect to the author even if you don’t struggle from the same demons.

Love people telling their stories. It starts off strong and ends a little too peppy for me.
