I personally enjoyed reading the book because it was such an easy read. The storyline is not hard to follow at all. There is some very mild cheating by the main character, which I didn't have a problem with since it's not like the main character is some model citizen anyways. It's a very American book in that it has a lot of sexual tension and gang violence-related plot/subplot.
