for a classic it was actually so amazing, i was just in a really bad reading slump at the time otherwise i'm sure it would have been a favourite. would love to do a re-read because i know i will properly love this book. it is completely up my classic-ass's alley. i'm wondering if it might surpass pride and prejudice...
