Interesting concepts, especially for those of us still at an introductory level. But hardly a novel. Just write a manifesto and be done with it instead of trying to tie the ideology to what can barely be called a narrative.

Ambitious but digestible - I think it's amazing that Yanis is able to write such appealing fiction about a topic so complex.

The plot has the characters creating a wormhole to talk with themselves in another universe. The neatest conceit about this premise to the author is that in the other universe they don't pay income tax. So....yeah.

I seem to be an outlier on here in terms of reviewers. Whilst some of the ideas in this book are undoubtedly good ones, I found the book itself a bit clumsy and - frankly - boring to read.

A challenge to read as it’s pretty heavy on academic economics… but a thrill to engage in a possible alternative to capitalism. Raises a bunch of questions… not sure if I feel hopeful or more forlorn 🙃 Worth a read for sure.
