A lovely historical/romantasy/academia set in 1800s England. Gabriel and Elodie are classic grumpy/sunshine, both professors at Oxford who have been tasked with finding the source of strange magical disturbances. I absolutely adored Elodie, her whimsy, and her ability to love and see Gabriel for exactly who he is. This writing style will not be for everyone but I really enjoy it and think these books are so fun!
