I have fallen in love with every book of Charity's that I have read. This one is very different from her other books, it is a dark romance. I absolutely loved it!
Natalia goes to her best friends father for protection from her crazy ex. However gaining protection from him comes with a price. What that price is you will have to read and find out! There were some twists that I didn't see coming and I can't wait to read the stories of the other members of the Marchetti family!!! This was a great start to a new series!

Natalia goes to her last resort when she realizes that her ex has put a hit on her: Her best friends dad, who also happens to be the don of the Marchetti mafia.
When I tell you that the sexual tension between these two was THICK, I could feel it through the pages. I absolutely love how Natalia didn't really take any of Christian's back talk. She stood her ground and definitely fought back. While this could have ended badly for her, Christian found himself unable to look away from her, even going so far as to protect her when he didn't have.
I also found Christian's character development to be perfect and realistic. There are too many mafia books where it's instalove and that just doesn't seem....right to me.
I finished this book and IMMEDIATELY bought the second in the series, Gorgeous Prince. I cannot wait to dive in!

My first mafia romance! Honestly a pretty good start, considering I finished it in one sitting 😂 Got this as a blind date with a book, and it isn't something I would normally pick out, but I enjoyed the 🌶
This is not my first book by charity as I’ve read most of not all her books. This is however the first darker romance I’ve read by her. This one started a bit slower then I’m used to however it was still so good I finished it in one day. This book is your jam if you enjoy mafia-best friends dad-age gap. Natalia and Christian is a story you are not gonna want to put down. Sparks a plenty
