Too many other books needing to be read at the same time. Intending to come back to this one.

Obsessed. We all know I'm a slut for a Revolution, but CL Clark really nailed the Western Imperialism and how sometimes rulers think they are doing good when in reality they are absolutely destroying whole cultures. She captures beautifully the concept that absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Also, gay. We live. We love.

I really tried to get into this. I usually will listen to my books while I’m at work, but the voice acting was just so all over the place it really made it hard to focus on the story which was already dragging its feet. There times where the reader would whisper or mumble parts as to act out the scene, but the whole point is to read the book where we can understand, if I don’t have the actually pages in front of me reading along I have no clue what you’re saying. Just poorly executed in my opinion. I might try again later and read it instead but at this point I’m just too frustrated to continue.
