 Something that stood out to me was the way C.L. Clark built the characters, each and every one was so well written that I really felt attached to them. I fell in love with how almost all the characters had to bury something from their past to gain the ability to envision their future—and how they then proceeded to build it.
The dynamics of friendship, love, sexual attraction, guilt and hurt were so well done. I don't think I have anything bad to say about this book.
I enjoyed it from beginning to end and couldn't wait to start the next one in the series.

3.8 , had high hopes at the beginning but I think the pacing was a bit slow for me. I fell in love with tourainne but luca was insanely annoying. I’m hoping the next book will have lots of character developement for all the characters

just okay, didn’t really like tourraine 

read as half ebook half audiobook, but didn’t like the audiobook narrator at all. nearly every chapter had an awkward ending bc the narrator read the line as if there was another sentence left if that makes sense??
