Should you read this duet? Possibly maybe absolutely yes, but also go into it knowing this duet is dark both in romance and in context…

Like dark dark… Like who am I rooting for dark? Like hard to pick up because you know it’s going to be rough but hard to put down because you are deeply invested in seeing these characters overcome their trauma dark… Like it took me two days to review this because I know it was really good but I rate for vibes and finishing this book left me a bit unsettled dark…Like I’m not a particularly sensitive reader when it comes to triggers but if you are you should DEFINITELY read them dark.

honestly I don’t even know how I feel about these books.
there is just so much sex! And exclamation marks!

although I will say I feel like this one has less sex scenes, but they’re more intense if that makes sense. and also, it has its own plot and doesn’t just feel like a filler sequel.
it also took me soooo looooong to read. There were just so many other books I wanted to spend my time reading instead! (13 apparently). But I finished it, it’s done, I don’t know if I LIKE IT or if I just have an emotional attachment cos it’s my first pretty dark romance series. I just don’t know.
