This is dark (read the trigger warnings!) but I thought the character went above and beyond run of the mill romantasy books. It was unexpectedly good from that perspective.
Enjoyed this. The ending happened quickly and wrapped everything up so fast I wish there had been more.

The overall plot is intriguing, but lacks development and pace. A lot of what happened in the second book, was very predictable.
I was surprised however of how much I liked the 'why chose' trope. Definitely contributed to some intense spicy chapters 🥵😅
Generally not a book I would recommend unless I know the person to be a bit unhinged in their reading taste (like myself).
