Jenny Lawson takes her through a little of her past that reveals why Halloween is the BEST holiday. And honestly, I agree with her 100% on how Christmas feels so forced sometimes and how stressful it can be.
But I love that she shared various costumes from her childhood. My mom has a picture of my brother and I one Halloween, where I was dressed as a witch and my brother was Frankenstein. (We looked awesome!)
I probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone, because I don't know who I would recommend it too. It was cute and funny and heartfelt.

I had a laugh reading this but it likely won't stay with me for a long length of time. There were some good quotes, like: 'which smelled delicious, but tasted like lies' which referred to roasted pumpkin seeds lol. Or: 'I just haven't had my ADD meds yet, and I think I'm contagious'. It was short and sweet. Just ended abruptly and honestly, I wasn't quite sure what the point of the book was....
