Loved it, a great sit in a coffee shop and read in one sitting kind of book :)
Friends to lovers is the best. I laughed so hard during this. The chemistry was amazing. I love the characters. Their love was unreal. The friendships are beautiful. I could picture every scene so vividly but it didn’t feel overly descriptive. So good!!!

I liked Bree and Nathan’s love story, but The Cheat Sheet lacked something for me.
I loved their friendship and was obviously rooting for them to get together, but I was so annoyed and bored by the constant reminder that they were JUST FRIENDS. We read from both their perspectives and I think they each told us at least 100 times that they were just friends and nothing would ever happen, despite the fact they each (unknowingly) loved the other. I get their conundrum and understand it very well on a personal level. It’s hard when you have feelings for your friend but you don’t want to ruin the friendship. I just didn’t need it repeated so many times.
I also wish it hadn’t taken so long for Bree and Nathan to realize their feelings for each other were mutual. For the little payoff we received, it took way too long to get there. When the moment finally comes, there is zero spice—spice that was well earned for putting up with all of their miscommunication nonsense.
There was also very little conflict aside from their unrequited feelings, so the story felt a bit blah at times. That said, I did appreciate the portrayal of anxiety/panic attacks and the character development. They both needed to accept and let go of certain things for their relationship to work, and it was satisfying to see that happen.
Overall, this was a fairly quick read with some of the most popular romance tropes. If you’re looking for a friends-to-lovers clean romance about a ballerina and quarterback, you might enjoy this one.

3,5 ⭐
I was dying to read a friends to lovers and this sort of full me up but... Bree is frustrating, you can love someone who's not perfect, don't marry someone you haven't done something with you're planning to do later on.
And PLEASE there IS a limit to cheesy sweet metaphors

Holy Moley Batman…I knew this book was getting lots of hype in bookstagram and TikTok, but seriously?! It was so freaking good! Aaabsolutely loved it.
Bree and Nathan are literally # couplegoals. They are the best of friends who have seen each other at their highest highs and their lowest lows. They have been through it all. Aaand to top it all off, they have both been secretly pining for each other for years without the other knowing! So when they are forced to fake date for an ad campaign, will it be the push they need to take the next step?
This book I’ll has all the best tropes:
Dual POV ✅
Best friends to lovers ✅
Fake dating ✅
Mutual pining ✅
Sports romance ✅
Plus each MC a great group of friends around them that really enhanced the story!
I was given an audio ARC by @dreamscape_media and @netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
Aaand boy was this a good audiobook?! Both Renee and Teddy as Bree and Nathan, respectfully did an amazing job. Their narrations were crisp and clear, and I could hear the emotions in each of their performances. The pacing was great, and I absolutely loved having both sides narrated by different people!
Definitely check out this audiobook when it comes out on Dec 13!!
