It was a good read. The puzzles were quite entertaining. The love triangle, on the other hand, was a bit bland, because Ave wasn’t given the chance to develop her relationship with Grayson as much as she did with Jameson. It felt like there wasn’t actually a love triangle, given the clear bias toward Jameson in the way the story was written.

I like the main character—she’s smart and strong-willed. What I don’t like are some of the forced romance parts. Ave seems to have attachment issues, I must say. Omw to read the next book. :)

boring

This was a book where I bought the entire series before even reading the first (typical), so I’m so happy it lived up to the hype!

Thoughts:
-This book kept me on my toes from the start - a girl inherits billions from a man she has never met and who has left her and his grandson's clues and puzzles to decipher why she was chosen. Seriously, what could pull me in more??
-It was fast-paced and drops you right into the lifestyle of not only the four grandsons but also Avery’s life being forced to live under one roof with them
-I instantly loved all four boys, but Grayson and Jameson really had my heart
-The riddles and puzzles kept me speeding through it because I felt like I was trying to figure out the clues with them
-The family dynamics between the boys, their mom and aunt, and Avery and her sister were intense and I wish they dove a little deeper into that
-The first reveal at the end seemed a little lackluster, so I’m glad the second one was bigger and left room for the second book
-It does end on a cliffhanger, so if that’s not for you here’s your warning

I am slightly obsessed with this book and picked up book 2 immediately after finishing it. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend!
