The first #TeamSteam read this month was The Acts of Life, I will be thinking about this book forever… I really can’t even tell you why because I feel like that gives too much away. The character development is perfect, the plot is *chef’s kiss* Just know that I am always right when it comes to twists & turns in books but wow Kristian Mulligan humbled me, I have never been more wrong in my life than when I read this book. I give this debut, self-published novel 5 stars and endless recommendations.

Ohhhhh who likes twisty reads? Who likes books with an evil twin? Who needs a little extra spice in their life?
The Acts of Life is a addicting, unpredictable thriller with a side of romance. This book is a debut novel written by fellow bookstagrammer, Kristin Mulligan (read.it.and.sleep), and she knocked it out of the park!
I recommend going into this one blind when you have enough time to binge read it all at once! Four stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am UNSETTLED by this ending! But holy cow was I in for a wild ride that I was not prepared for! There’s a decent amount of spice, romance and suspense. My 3 favorite genres lol. I did not see the plot twist coming at all which was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed this one and I couldn’t put it down!
