It’s written a little confusing in the beginning, but it’s reflecting the main characters condition. Just pull through it, it get’s better.
I was able to read it very fast, there were often a few repetitions.
I really wanted to know why so many people love Aaron Warner that much, until now i honestly can’t really understand it. Just sometimes slightly.

Really interesting premise, love the dystopian future and limited abilities setup. The beginning really drew me in and I am excited to see what happens in the next book. I’ve seen spoilers online for elements of the series so I am very keen to understand how things develop from where we’ve been left in book 1! Cool writing style and well written.

Expectations were high for 'Shatter Me' by Tahereh Mafi. Eager, yet cautious, I borrowed it from the library instead of committing to the entire series. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past page 60.

The book's style, akin to a Wattpad fanfic, featured an overly dramatic and edgy main character. This style, while not necessarily bad, wasn't what I expected. I was hoping for something more complex and literary, possibly influenced by the series' hype. Despite my efforts, I couldn't continue.

Given that it's already December 19th, rating this book as one of my lowest this year is notable. I highly doubt I'll pick it up again, as it was a disappointing experience, but I remain open-minded; maybe it just wasn't the right time for me.

I'd rate 'Shatter Me' 2 out of 5 stars. Though not my cup of tea, its intriguing premise earns it a point, and it might still appeal to certain readers.

So far this series is really good! I think this first book is a lot of world building and character introductions. The middle of the book seems like the beginning. I am very glad there are more books to expand on Juliette and Warner. I so far don't trust Adam and love Kenji and Juliette. I think the world building works very well it just means the into is super slow.

- I liked Shatter Me. It was fast paced and engaging. It was interesting to learn about everything with Juliette. I liked how she never lost her humanity, especially with how powerful her abilities are. Her voice and reactions are realistic.
- I loved Juliette and Adam together. Especially since they knew each other from childhood. (Yes, I kind of know what eventually happens with Juliette and Warner).
- James is so sweet and a positive/innocent person in such a dark and scary world.
- Kenji is so funny and not who I was expecting.
- It was interesting to learn more about Omega Point and the abilities that other people have
- I’m not going to continue the series right now because there other books that I want to read. I would loved this book more as a teenager.
