slow-paced

I had a hard time getting into the start of this book.  It felt sort of slow in the beginning and the first half took me a while. But the ending makes up for the slow start! Very cute continuation of the previous book

Felt like this sequel wasn’t necessary but was still a cozy read. A bit repetitive. But 10/10 for the narrator - amazing performance!

I liked this book, it was a good follow up, my only hold ups were I felt the beginning to be slow and the romance too cheesy and too perfectionist. Like, out of a dream and not reality. Yes, I know it's a fantasy book, but other characters feel so real, I wish the romance did too.

Loved this! Made me laugh, cry, and clutch my pearls.
