Dark fantasy. So much better than book one. It would be 5 stars if it had a little more action. It was a bit slow at times. As much as Queen Malina annoys me I’m all for her taking the reigns of her kingdom. King Midas is such an ass and is giving major Tamlin vibes. IYKYK. The plot twist at the end though! Was not expecting that. I’m curious to see how the plot continues to play out since secrets are no being revealed.
