I enjoyed this book much more than the first. I really liked the characters we were introduced to! I have to admit the twists are pretty predictable but still enjoyable.

A dark romantic fantasy series
I loved this book a lot we finally get to see the auren grow as a person and learn all the twisted truths the had been denying for so long this book really did make up for how slow gild was I eat this book up in a day it was phenomenal we get to learn more about the past aurens past and just all the kingdoms pasts as well as learn secrets that many weren’t expecting (I made a mistake and spoiled it for myself

Definitely a step up from the first book! I loved Auren's evolution, her meeting new characters, and her discovery of herself in the process. Definitely an explosive ending as well, which I suspect is how most of those books will be.
I am really eager to see how the story progresses!
