This was a solid read, but it didn’t fully deliver for me. The concept is fascinating — twin sisters choosing very different lives, and the ripple effect on the next generation — and I enjoyed the way the narrative explored identity, family, and belonging. There were definitely moments that gripped me, but I never quite connected with the story or characters as deeply as I hoped.
I also found Reece’s storyline interesting, but because it was only skimmed over, it felt more like a missed opportunity than something that added to the overall book. And then the ending… it left me confused and underwhelmed. For me, the story would have been stronger if it had ended with Early being given the ring — that moment carried far more weight than what followed.
More of a 3.5 stars. Solid writing and story was interesting, but it seemed to drag on a bit at times. Jude and Kennedy’s love interest stories were of little interest to me — wish it had focused more on the twins the whole time and then only had Jude and Kennedy as connecting points. But I get wanting to develop their stories.

The Vanishing Half- 2⭐️- it was well written but I about DNF’d it early. I didn’t enjoy the subject matter and it never seemed to go anywhere. I finished it, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
