The prologue of this book is exciting, and I love that the author is venturing into a more taboo subject but doing so professionally. However, if you have a sensitivity to surrogacy, this book may not be for you.

Wyatt is a grumpy mountain man, but the banter between brothers is fantastic. The ad is hilarious, but the love behind it in this large family is sweet.

I do like that we get Everly's perspective. She is the teenager behind the superior strategy of surrogacy for her uncle. Everly's plan is a little strange but super sweet.

This story had some nice lighthearted moments thrown in that are honestly laugh-out-loud funny. However, it gets very mature as baby-making gets involved. The grumpy/sunshine is very apparent, but Trista is also very independent. I like Wyatt's overly protective and caring personality.

The story is a racket with all the farm animals. This mountain man has finally met his match. Things finally sizzle for them, and just wow.

I love that he falls first, and the found family is so sweet. These mountain men don't disappoint with a rugged appeal, protective nature, and swoon-worthy loyalty. This book gets emotional as history and hormones emerge, but even though I got teary, I laughed two seconds later.

I love this sweet mountain man romance, with an intriguing storyline and plenty of banter to keep you chuckling. This book was the perfect lighthearted read, and even though it covers some more delicate topics, the author did a great job balancing the topics and tropes to make this book amazing.

Trista is *quirky* , in a mostly annoying way. For example, she is very temporarily living above Wyatt's barn, and he's very explicit about not wanting more animals around, but she keeps amassing animals anyway, usually behind his back. To live in the apartment he owns. Against his wishes. With no plan for what to do with them when she leaves in a few months. Also, she's carrying this guy's baby, but spends a ton of time rejecting all help from him. She keeps acting like he's trying to do her huge, unwarranted favors, when it's literally a man making sure the woman carrying his child is sleeping comfortably and getting regular meals. Calm down, Lady.
