Idk how to feel about this book. I thought it would go differently but it’s really icky. I’m not sure about the sensitivity readers because the surrogacy it’s treated horribly. Like on the surface, it uses correct terms but it’s portrayed kind of weird. It’s a 100% unethical and presented a bit like a joke.
I couldn’t connect with the main characters. She was extremely quirky, rude (stop bringing animals to someone’s else’s home) and prideful and he was serious and low key misogynistic. The breeding kink was a poorly done joke considering the plot. The last 8% was nice ish but not worth it imo. Also, while his family it’s really close , there are some weird lines being crossed, like having your niece find your surrogate and other things that are revealed during the story with the three brothers.
Honestly, I don’t recommend it.
