another physical book completed. I swear reading their story I had to keep telling myself there are survivors. it was an emotional read to say the least. reading raw human emotions on the will to survive, faith in religion, questioning the universe.

Death has an opposite, but the opposite is not mere living. It is not courage or faith or human will. The opposite of death is love. How had I missed that? How does anyone miss that? Love is our only weapon. Only love can turn mere life into a miracle, and draw precious meaning from suffering and fear
An absolutely amazing tale of survival. Reading it, it's so hard to believe that this was all real, but it was. I commend Parrado and all the other survivors who sacrificed so much and worked so hard to return to their families.

Pero también nos presenta todo lo que pasó por su cabeza: sus miedos, desesperación, su motivación y los elementos clave que le brindaron la fuerza para poder sobrevivir al accidente.
Creo que es un título que todo mundo debería leer. Pero si estás pasando por un mal momento, donde no le encuentras sentido a la vida o la desesperación se está volviendo insostenible, éste libro es para tí.
