- I honestly don’t have much to say about this one bc it wasn’t particularly memorable
-I’m not sure why I keep reading Jae’s books when I don’t particularly like them that much - maybe bc her writing style is just that good that ik eventually she will wow w/ me the plot
-This book was kind of insta love, or at least very fast paced in the romance element - it kind of surprised that the insta love part came from the not vampire which I liked
-I definitely liked this for a vampire book bc it wasn’t too heavy on the weird vampire stuff that happens in most of these fantasy novels - only cliche thing was her wanting to drink everyone’s blood but that’s kind of par for like any and every vampire book - everything else about Robin was pretty normal
-This also was a sapphic urban fantasy which I honestly don’t come across very often - especially ones w/ good writing
-I would write more but I honestly cannot remember anything that happens in this book worth noting - can’t even remember much about the romance beside Alana being really into Robin and needing to check on her like all the time

A delicious paranormal romance!
Robin is a secret vampire trying to reform from drinking human blood. Alana is a recovering alcoholic with a few otherworldly secrets of her own. Getting romantically involved is the last thing they should do, but the pull between them is so powerful. Is it bloodlust, physical attraction, or something much more?
Good Enough to Eat is a fun and touching sapphic paranormal romance with wonderful main characters. Robin, in particular, with her stubborn conscience, writing talent, and surprisingly open heart, is an engaging protagonist that you can’t help but root for. The slow burn romance that builds between her and Alana, while sometimes amusing and seemingly ill-advised at first, blossoms into something truly lovely.
If you enjoy playful, gentle romances with a hint of the magical, you’ll devour Good Enough to Eat in one sitting!

Another excellent read by Jae and Alison Grey! I've enjoyed both of these authors books, so it wasn't a surprised when I enjoyed this book. The main concept, a vampire attending AA to stop drinking human blood, is absolutely fascinating. Robin and Alana were very entertaining. I love how they kept trying to explain aspects of themselves that were supernatural without making it supernatural, all the while, wishing they werent talking to a human. It was funny!
Highly recommend to fan of Jae and Alison Grey, romances with a supernatural twist.

I really wanted to like this book vampires that are not straight for once. But the quality of the writing was all over the place. The big conflict if the book didn't really get resolved and didn't add anything to the story. There are only really once spicy scene and some of it was so unsexy its laughable.
