I can’t believe i already finished it I just want to go back and fall in love with this story all over again!

Every page was filled with so much emotion and action i couldn’t put it down and Talan is just absolute perfection 🤌🏻
The chemistry and the pain and stuggle i cried and laughed so much with this book It’s definitely one I will always recommend to people to read it absolutely on my top 10 book series 😍

~ “You claim to hate me, but the reaction of your body tells me otherwise. Deep down, you crave a monster like me to send fire through your veins. Deep down, Nia, I think you are begging to be set free.”

Wowww, what a great ending to an amazing and unique series 🤩 So many plot twists had me white knuckling my wine glass towards the end as I binged this in one day. Enemies to lovers, dragons, and so many lies that the only thing better was the truth that finally came out. Highly recommend this series. The Dream Stalker will be living rent-free in my brain for the foreseeable future❤️‍🔥. Can’t wait for the spin off series 💖

Everytime I think about how this series is over, my heart breaks a little. I have loved every single book in this series and it's really hard to let these characters go. I love how we immediately pick up where we left off in Vale of Dreams which means that we get the Dream Stalker from the get go - and boy, does that make me happy! I have always loved Nia, I think she is such an amazing character. She's strong and she's smart and she is able to work around any situation she gets thrown into!

I loved that we got a lot more one on one scenes with Nia and Talan in this book because Talan is the epitome of a morally grey character and I am absolutely obsessed with him - like top 3 book boyfriends sort of perfection! I really enjoyed the plot, the stakes are really high in this one and there's enemies coming from the fey realm as well as in the halls of Avalon Tower. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect of the story and it was really awesome trying to figure out who to trust!

This series is a Fae meets Arthurian legend story and I absolutely loved all of the Pendragon and Merlin and Nimue references! I loved watching Nia grow into her powers and all the tension between her and Talan was to die for! And we get dragons!! Up close and personal, need I say more? There was alot of angst while reading this book, nail-biting and squealing and you name it which obviously means it was absolutely amazing. Also, grumpy Mordred is THE BEST. I do wish we got a little more out of the final battle though, after all King Auberon put us through, he should have suffered greatly. Either way, I loved this book so damn much and I'm truly going to miss this world and these characters!

This was everything I wanted and needed for the end! All of the action kept me on the edge of my seat and Talan and Nia had me either swooning or stressing.

I was so worried the entire time about all of the lies Nia has held onto. It was such a relief when everything finally started to come out. I loved getting to see more of their powers. Nia grew so much in this final book that I’m sad there won’t be another🥹

The ending made my heart feel so full. I can see such a bright future for everyone and it was the sweetest HEA🖤

Thank you so much to the author for the gifted copy!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
🗡️ Enemies to Lovers
🗡️ Touch Her and ☠️
🗡️ Hot Villain
🗡️ Slow Burn
🗡️ Fey Spies
🗡️ Dragons

Lady Of The Lake is the final book in the Fey Spy Academy series. In it, Nia finds herself surrounded by betrayal while living a lie as an Avalon Academy spy sent to help assassinate Talan (the Dream Stalker). In Lady of the Lake, Nia really comes into her own powers and inner strength, and she starts to develop her full strengths while fighting her attraction to Talan.

I loved the twists and turns of the final chapter in the series as everything comes to a head with the battle between the humans and the Fey and the power struggle over kingdoms. I have been rooting for #teamtalan all throughout the series, so I was excited to see what the conclusion to the fake relationship between Talon & Nia would end. The ending gave me the conclusion to the storyline, wrapping up all the characters. I am looking forward to seeing where the planned spin-off series goes. I am giving The Lady Of The Lake a rating of 5 / 5 stars.

This was a great conclusion to the series! I loved how there was a recap of the previous book at the beginning and a timeline to reference at the end of the book! I didn't reread the first two books before jumping in, so that was really helpful. Especially since all King Arthur retellings have slightly different nuances that vary from each other.

The "morally grey villain getting the girl" trope was really well done! I loved Talan's character arc. The romance was at a perfect slow burn pace.

There was a lot of great high stakes action and twists and reveals and everything wrapped up really well.

Overall, this is the perfect series for a romantasy reader who likes academy settings, spies and intrigue, morally grey characters, slow burn romance, King Arthur retellings, fey worlds, found family, and more! And now that it's complete, it's perfect to binge!

Thank you to C.N Crawford & Alex Rivers for a free copy of this book. All thoughts are my own!

This is an amazing conclusion to a trilogy that hooked me from the very first page of book one. I am honestly so sad to see that it's over, because there's nothing more to read. No more pages to turn to keep me in the world of Fey and Arthurian Legends.

The world that the authors created was vivid and well thought out. The world had so much development and I enjoyed being able to step outside of the castle boundaries in this book to explore more of the fey realm.

Talan had me wrapped around his finger from the very first moment he came on the page. Raph who? Sorry but not sorry. This book gave him so much depth and development, understanding that he isn't as one dimensional as everyone thinks him to be. We are able to step into his mind and memories in this book and I choked up quite a few times at what was revealed. He was a villain, but not for who you think.

Nia really came into her own in this book. She embraced who she was as a Demi-fey despite her struggles and accepted the power that she was gifted. She is headstrong and determined to do what is best for her friends, even in the face of loss and ultimate destruction.

The found family aspect of this story is one of my favorites. Nia found friends in Camelot who rallied around her and would risk their lives for her, in the same way that she would for them. These friends were some of my favorite side characters. Even Mordred became beloved in his psychotic and mentally not there way.

There was one plot point that seemed to fall to the wayside. It has been a constant source of tension since book one, and when the truth got revealed, aside from a brief nod, it never got brought up again. There was no fall out despite the fact that this was raised to be a HUGE issue from the start.

You will not go wrong with reading this trilogy. I hope that you fall in love with these characters as I have. I am so sad to leave this world behind.
