I was a little worried LeCarre's authentic style of spy novels was going to get tiresome over 600 pages, but I was wrong. You felt the triumph of the home office putting together the paper trail as much as the tension of the field agent and it was awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed it but I think I'll read it again. It took me a long time to get through with a lot of interruptions which was far from ideal.
