This short story was a really quick listen on audio, I even listened twice in a row because I felt like I didn’t get it the first time. Reading it again helped me see more value in the story, though it wasn’t nearly as creepy as I hoped. I think I just prefer more modern horror. This old piece is tricky to understand the nuances of.

Alright, a typical classic horror story. Nothing special other than the fact Poe writes sentences that form about a third of a page. Honestly slay, king. Overcomplicating everything for no reason is absolutely bi rights 🙌
