Did I binge this in two days?
Absoflippinglutely because OH MY GAWD, it was a page turner!
Holly Jones has it all; a dreamy Miami house, a picture-perfect family. But when she crosses paths with a blast from her London past, everything starts to unravel...
Holly Wild, the other Holly, is nothing like the dowdy school sidekick she used to be. She’s glamorous, magnetic…and suddenly everywhere Holly Jones turns: her home, her marriage, her head.
One of my favourite things about Tiny Daggers was how it constantly had me flitting back and forth between the Hollys. Who did I trust? Who was good? Who was bad? Every time I thought I had one figured out, something twisted and I was second-guessing everything.
I enjoyed how layered it felt, the sun-soaked Miami glamour hiding this constant tension. Watching Holly Jones cling to control while her perfect life cracked apart was so compelling. And Holly Wild? The best kind of character to love to hate; magnetic, unpredictable, never quite what she seems.
I found myself totally relating to Holly Jones’s paranoia, that creeping fear of being pushed out by someone shinier, newer, louder. And just when you think you know who’s playing who another revelation hits and you’re questioning it all over again.
I also loved how easy it was to slip into the story. Caroline’s writing is so sharp and readable that I didn’t want to put it down for a second. The Daggers aka Chapters were a great length but had you wanting more so in the end, I just binged it.
If you love a psychological thriller that keeps you deliciously on edge and suspicious of everyone then this is one to add straight to your TBR.

There were some (kind of) unexpected twists and turns. What I liked about this was that they were revealed quite early on in the book and then elaborated on further throughout the book. I felt the story was wrapped up nicely, and didn’t feel cheated out of a proper explanation like most thrillers. I really enjoyed it, it was slow in parts though.
