I could not stop reading this series. I was immediately sucked into the drama then stayed for the love story between the Empress and Henriey. I've never been so angry with fictional characters before. I NEEDED to see my girl Navier treated right. I ended up reading into the night until 8am.

What can I say, I love a good ice queen X charismatic schemer romance.
Moderate: Infidelity, Sexism
It's webtoons drama political style. It's just fun for me to gasp at the drama.
Also the art is fantastic and I adore all the dresses *chef's kiss*!

Not a super novel plot, but somewhat interesting. I decided to read this because there's a kdrama adaptation coming starring Shin Min Ah, and I'd watch anything with her.
This is the typical story where you never have to guess who the villains are - they pretty much tell you. Philandering husband who's angry his wife isn't super excited about his cheating on her. Idiotic mistress who's scheming to make her "competition" look bad while trying to appear innocent and sweet. Long suffering, genius, reserved wife who's only fault is staying with a man that clearly hates her.
Truth be told, I don't understand anyone siding with Rashta. This isn't me defending the shitty husband; they both suck to be clear. But she's literally being the absolute worst to Navier and Duchess Tuamin because she wanted a better life for herself and now other people have to suffer. I don't understand sympathy for Rasha at all.

Featuring gorgeous art and a clever story, The Remarried Empress is a fairly fresh take on the ‘villainess as the protagonist’ trope. The empress is a complex, compelling character and it has plenty of antagonists you can’t wait to watch get their comeuppance.
