Are you kidding me? What is there not to like about this book?

Personally I really enjoyed it. The story was quick and to the point and led you to feel and think a certain way while reading it. There were some necessary dull points - but overall each part presented had a distinct point.

I won't even begin to explain all the things I learned from this book- it's so awesome how this story represents a history. It also led me to connect what happened with Anastasia.

It has so much I could dive in and talk about. There are many different points/themes that he crosses over that'll just wow you.

I'd really like to read a biography about Orwell and I definitely can't wait to read more of his books. (This was my first of his).

3/5

Hear me out, this book is good. It’s got the historical and political context that I liked, but it was just so disturbing and made me angry (which was probably Orwell’s point but I digress). Animal Farm is one of those books you read once, unpack, and then probably won’t ever read again. It was short and to the point, which was nice, but it felt too predictable.
