Honestly, while this was under 100 pages, I absolutely loved every single word on the page. I'm not going to lie, I personally think that because it is a novella, it makes the vivid details and descriptions stand out more through the narration of the book.
I read it in one sitting and by the end of the book, while it is not a happy one it is realistic which is something I like in books that imply or vividly focus on politics such a this one. I've seen the classic quotes from this like "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others" but actually reading it gave it more significance. Watching the signs and changes in real time and seeing the connections in real life is terrifying, considering this is a banned book.
I like how Orwell decided to use animals to show the change in authority and how language can be used to manipulate the other animals in the farm. Another thing I found quite compelling was how along with the usage of language, the lack of education inn the working animals to understand the rules makes it easier for animals in authority to take advantage of, which is representative of the class difference due to education.
Personally, I would recommend this classic to anyone who wants to read:
1. banned book
2. quick read (Under 100 pages & approximately under 3 hours)
3. classic

This was so very good, & I’m not even interested in anything mildly political
