4.5 stars. So scary how relevant this text still is to this day. Definitely a must read classic. Listened on audiobook.
A book with a story you know won’t end well, yet you are still shocked with each terrible development. More relevant now than ever. Orwell captured such a ‘foreign’ situation in such a way that feels like it roots itself into the reader’s own life and becomes applicable to the world around them. Every single person should read this book. To be educated is to escape the control of your thoughts.
