Really, really cute. And spicy! Really spicy! And starts MUCH faster than the prior two books. The whole book reads a lot faster than the prior two, even though it's the exact same length.

I liked the characters a little less in this one, and felt like Warren was often done such a disservice, always having to take care of everyone in every capacity. But it was still a great story, worth a read.

I need more!! This book gets all the stars!

I am kicking myself so much that I waited so long to read this
series! I can't even pick which one is my favorite. Both of these stories were amazing! I laughed out loud so many times reading this book!! Burke at the dinner party I died

Extraordinary!

I was so happy to have Madeline's story as she truly deserved her happily ever after. The angst and growth of all three characters was just beautiful to read. I adore this series so much! Praying it's not the last we see.

This one was quite sweet. Madeline’s parents make me stabby. It was fun to still get so much of the characters from the last two books in this one. They’re so funny. Also this book made me cry at one point. Rude.

This follow-up to the first duology gives us Madeline’s love story. It can be read as a standalone, but there are characters from the first book in this one. I would recommend starting with book 1, because the original group (Rosalie, Burke, James, and Renley) play a prominent role in this book.

I thought this book did a better job with crafting a plot and moving it forward than book 2 did. I felt like book 2 was more of a vehicle for spicy scenes than an addition to their story.  But this book delivers on steamy scenes MMF ⚔️ The sexual tension and forbidden romance are delicious.

This is a 5 star smut book and a 3 star regular book.

Characterizations were incredible inconstant and there was so many potential plot points and themes that the author decided to not follow. Charlies and Warren were incredibly under developed. And you know what, there were too many sex scenes.

Mr. Burke is an agent of chaos and I love him.

Won't be going back and reading the other books.

I’m utterly obsessed with this whole series. And I’m not a “second epilogues” sort of person generally, but I would happily read more whole books just about both Second Sons relationships living their lives. (But also possible future books with George or Patrick?)

Honestly I’m having a hard time leaving a legit review because I’m just like “YOUR HONOR I LOVE THEM.”

I love that every character in the series is their own clear person and the dynamics between all of them are so different, both within and outside their relationships. Absolutely delightful, and I’m completely sold on reading everything Emily Rath writes.
