Alcott Hall by Emily Rath - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was only my second MMF read and third queer historical romance so I was a little outside my reading comfort zone, but I really enjoyed this read! I didn’t read the preceding duet but there was a little summary at the start so I understood the characters and their relationships. What starts as a potential marriage and a forbidden childhood love grew into beautiful love stories that intertwined together.

The characters were each so unique and I thought the author did a great job of writing from each one’s perspective. I never am a fan of instant love, so I wish the characters had more time to grow together before realizing they’re in love, but the timeline was an important plot point so it makes sense.

Overall I am a big fan of this book and look forward to reading the first two books in the future!

This was a major miss for me. I think it’s well written, the characters are fairly well developed, but I just couldn’t bring myself to care about them or the plot. I think that says more about me than the book in this case though.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Overall, I really liked alcott hall  and would recommend it. I just loved how the relationship between the characters grew from a seed to a beautiful flower. Also I would love to see how did the relationship between the mmcs started at the beginning and more happy moments of the characters at the end. Hands down Alcott hall is a favorite of my regency favorites books.

I am not normally one for regency era romances, however, add two handsome gentlemen and make it a why choose and I am in 🤩  I absolutely adored this book and couldn’t stop swooning over the handsome vicar and rugged wild man 😏 I enjoyed socially awkward Madeline and her up for anything attitude when it came to primal Warren and thoughtful Charles 😉 I am always up for a spicy book and this got quite spicy very quickly 🌶️ I enjoyed most about Alcott Hall was how these characters felt for one another 🥰 The way they protect each other, are willing to do anything for the ones they love 💪 It’s honest, deep, and raw. I couldn’t put it down and now Emily Rath has become one of my favorite new indie authors 🥰

Thank-you to Emily Rath and her team for sending an eARC copy of this book for an honest review 🥰
