The premise was interesting but things happened at such a fast pace that I didn't connect with the world or characters.

I believed this is L.V. Lane's first foray into the Omegaverse. I didn't start with this book, my first book from Lane was Omega Awakening which I enjoyed tremendously.
There is no knotting, nesting or rutting in this book. So I'm not sure if I could truly call it a 100% alpha-omega book. Nevertheless I still enjoyed it and looking forward to reading more books from this author and series.
