A southern girl falls for a northern boy and they try to blend their way of lives together. Like Head and Shoulders this a story about two who contrast in personality. They way they try to bring their lifestyles together, but it is not easy. They are so different and they clash throughout the story providing an entertaining look at the southern and northern way of living. Could these types of lifestyles come together. I feel have both in me, but my parents have overseas influences which is probably I blend with both I think. I like Sally Carrol as a protagonist as she is charming and sweet. Harry, her beau, annoyed me with his lack of consideration for Sally Carrol's feelings. He rudely accuses the south as being full of lazy people while's at least trying to like the north. I wanted to know more about the secondary characters like Roger Patton, but being a short story Fitzgerald didn't have time to focus on them. He just teases us with these characters. Another story I enjoyed reading.

Although not the most exciting story, this is a beautiful little gem. FSF’s writing is so lyrical and atmospheric, he could make anything sound phenomenal.

The story was beautifully written, the theme isn't common as well, it's about this young lady who thought she could easily change her home, and get used to another one, but she found out she was wrong, with all the differences, between her the Southern young lady, and her fiancé the Northern young man.
