Wonderful book. Perfectly captures a moment in time of two woman fighting for labor rights and connects it to historical union battles waged by other women. Very emotional retelling.

I'm having trouble defining my feelings about this book. On one hand, I think the union story needs to be told and intertwining the deeply personal and the historical is required for context. On the other, I really did not appreciate how much was written in second person and the moth digressions were annoying rather than charming and the author never truly addressed her own role in the power imbalance at the heart of this story - despite continuing to profit off of it in the form of writing a book...

Overall, I would recommend this but I would also recommend reading it with a critical eye.
