A man going to therapy? πŸ₯Ή We love to see it! πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

Also, Billionaire romances are great, but sometimes I just love to read about a small town single dad who works as a cop and falls for the school teacher who also happens to be his best friend's little sister. This was a vibe. 😌πŸ₯°

While it was an enjoyable enough read, the conflict was resolved too quick for my liking. It also took 85% of the book to get to the conflict. Also I was promised spice by booktok and I am left underwhelmed

Enjoyed this one slightly more than the first one because it gives us: brother's best friend / single dad.
But, on the other hand, it was still too fast-paced? I'm aware the characters have essentially known each other most of their lives but still they move (literally) too fast in my opinion. Also, didn't really like the whole thing about Cheyenne
having a crush on Cole since she was a teen and STILL behaving like a teen
.

I just loved this book! Nobody does a single dad romance quite like Melanie Harlow. Cheyenne and Cole (and Mariah) are just the sweetest. The tension during the build up was stellar. I really liked the dynamic between Cheyenne and Cole as a couple. This book warmed by heart. The teasers for book 3 have me excited. Highly recommend this book!

I liked it. There's a lot of character development, a little bit of smut, lots of cuteness, the main couple is adorable and the side characters too. And for the first time ever: a well written child!!! Mariah was definitely the highlight off this book. It took me a little bit of time to finish, but that's on me and my lazyness. In the beginning of the book I was feeling buttlerflies in my stomach, and towards the end it kinda died down. But still, it's good.
