This book had so much potential and I feel like separately Ryker and Gem had a great run but together their passion needed to burn higher and their relationship needed more substance. I get they are two alphas but we don't get the explosion that that usually means. Theres always a backing off or a wait period between them. I missed Aleks in this book and felt like their relationship wasn't done justice. Overall I read it because I wanted to see if she would choose him and if more sparks (of all varieties) would fly. Not sure if I will read book 3.

There was too much repetition from the previous book and I found the female lead character to be exceedingly naive unbelievable for someone who is supposed to be so powerful. There are so many more issues but those are the main ones.
