This, of course, was an amazing book. TJR is such a unique author. While the style of her books are all somewhat similar, they are completely unique from any other books out there. This one in particular felt incredibly cinematic. You can visualize every moment so clearly. This needs to be a movie or TV show. It would translate beautifully onto the screen in my opinion.

This book is not a revelation for anyone who is familiar with queer literature, but I did enjoy the perspective on determining one's own life.

Oh it’s so so good!! 
This was such an unexpected joy to read for me. I didn’t know what to expect going in to it as I know it’s like marmite for some people, but I really really enjoyed it. 

I love the story & how it was told. It was powerful & sad & frustrating, & showed how stronger Evelyn really was.
Also was not expecting to cry in the middle of work but Evelyn with Connor got me deep in the feels!💔

This was my first TJR read & I now feel like I need to binge her whole backlog!
