A beautiful, heavy story and memoir of domestic abuse in queer relationships. Anyone with lived experienced around domestic violence will see themselves in this and relate in a way that hurts. The vulnerability is so apparent and I am grateful to Carmen for sharing her story.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. This memori was captivating, painful, and vulnerable. Multiple times while reading I found myself experiencing the emotions viscerally. This will be a memoir i think about for a very long time.
