I love ghost stories. This one was good! I enjoyed the story line and the book was even a little creepy/scary. It was a short story but lots in it. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

First off, I am easily drawn into any book that claims to take place in Portland, OR. However, all the name drops in this book seemed a tad out of place especially if you are unfamiliar with the city (for example, the main character visits OMSI with his daughter but the author never explains that OMSI is the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). With that said, a 3 star rating is my base rate for anything I review (all books start at 3 stars and either work their way down or up). That is it wasn’t bad by any means but there wasn’t anything terribly wonderful about it either. It was a quick read (I read the majority of the book during my work breaks and finished it before turning in for the night) that held neither a satisfying nor unsatisfying ending.

I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this book to anyone in particular but if you’re looking for a quick paranormal read, then this would certainly fill that for you. You can get a free kindle version of this book from Amazon (you're welcome).

Please note: I received this book for free from a LibraryThing Member giveaway in return for my honest review. All words and opinions are my own. Read all my reviews on my blog.
