I thought this was an adorable story but sometimes it dragged with all the election talk. It was also very light on the romance so look elsewhere if that's what you're seeking. Mostly, this is a story about a young man trying to conform into something he's not and then ultimately accepting what actually makes him happy.

  • I already love all the characters so far and their aesthetics. I think Camilla and Trish are gonna be really good side characters.
  • I think Danny’s probably going to be the love interest which I’m looking forward to since it’ll probably be like annoyed acquaintances to lovers which will be hopefully funny with banter and shit.
  • And I want Blaine to get over Joey, who is a major ass.
  • Fudge is just freaking adorable. And Aunt Starr seems incredible so far.
  • I’m already liking Danny. But I wish they’d had more of a build up. One point they’re sort of against each other, the next they’ve had like two conversations total and they’re talking about family deaths and mental health issues they’re facing and I wanted a bit more of a build up to that?? More of their relationship shown I guess? But there’s still a lot to go so I’m excited.
  • I really like Trish and Camilla, though I feel like I’ve barely seen them? Even though it’s been like a hundred pages? But again, there’s still a lot to go so that’ll probably change.
  • I really like Blaine. I’m annoyed with the job for aunt Starr and how he’s hiding it but I get why and it will probably be resolved in the end so I’m excited for that. I just get stressed thinking about it.
  • Okay, I did like this a lot. All lose ends were tied up, with Zach, Joey, Aunt Starr, his parents, Danny, just everything.
  • I was originally thinking that they’ve barely spent any time together and they already have a crush on each other which I still kind of agree with but I still really liked it and it felt natural.
  • I loved all the characters and how they were distinct and the relationships they had were just really great.
  • I also love how happy this was. It was funny and sweet and I loved it a lot. So yeah.
